Carnivore means eating only animal products. This way of eating is also called zero carb, or nose to tail. Plants are considered medicine, not food.
There is currently a large movement toward a plant based diet. Most people choose to go plant based for their health, to help the planet, and compassion toward animals.
This site is not intended to convince anyone to start eating carnivore. It is intended to provide resources that give a different perspective to health and the environment, for those who are drawn to questioning the "facts" in the media and medical community.
How do you know what to believe? If the majority of doctors and medical journals are telling you to eat your fruits and vegetables, isn't it crazy to believe otherwise? If so many "experts" are telling us that cow farts are bad for the planet, why believe otherwise?
Question what you read. Use your own judgement.
What we do know:
Vested interests often influence studies.
Doctors receive minimal nutritional training.
What we have been told in the past by "experts" has frequently been proven wrong.
That a large percentage of the population is overweight and unhealthy. Something isn't working.
With the attitude of questioning everything, even common knowledge, examine the resources in this website. Then do your own personal analysis of the information. You may want to calculate the environmental footprint of the food in your pantry. Experiment with a new way of eating so you can be your own n=1 experiment.
