Bacon
Forget messy frying, splattering, uneven cooking, and babysitting. This method is foolproof! The bacon cooks evenly in its own fat, doesn't curl up, and doesn't even need to be flipped.
Preheat oven to 375f.
Line a cookie sheet with (eco-friendly) parchment paper.
Spread the bacon out on the parchment.
Bake for 20-22 minutes (depends upon the thickness of the bacon).
Remove the bacon and cool on paper towels.
Pork Belly
A slab of pork belly sells at Costco for $2.99/lb.
Changes: no paprika, no pepper, no olive oil, no poison plants. Lots of salt.
For the final step, don't fry it in the skillet. It's way too messy, time consuming, and unnecessary.
Make 2" x 1" portions and bake them on a wire rack at 350f until golden brown. Serve.
